Taylor got really sick in May after getting is adenoids taken out and tubes put. He couldn't keep anything down for three days by the time they did something about it they couldn't get an IV in him and had to put it into his back. We were admitted to hospital from the er. By the end of the day his stomach was swelling and they told me it was normal and I knew it wasn't. He still refused to eat or drink he acted like it hurt so I got his discharged from the hospital and took him home. I didn't know what to do his doctor told us everything was fine but I knew it wasn't that's when a great cousin of my who happens to be a nurse called me up and told me it wasn't normal and to follow my feelings and take him in. I drove to Roosevelt and within 10 minutes they found the problem, his stomach never woke up after surgery his large and small intestines were completely block almost to the point of a bowel obstruction. I was mad to say the least but at least with in a few days on the right medicine he as getting better. Our pictures were taken to take his mind off the IV and to keep us busy in the ER.

I moved taylor into his big boy bed in May. He used to be the best sleeper in the world and never cried when he went to bed or down for his nap until we changed beds. He thought it was so cool he get out and he just played until he couldnt go anymore.

Halle Played soccer for the first time this year. She loved it! She was barely old enough so most of the girls were older than her so she just ran around chasing them but she had fun and that is all that mattered.

Ok So thats not everything we did in the last 9 months or so but the big parts anyways.

  1. Andrea! Thanks for the comment. For some reason, you aren't on my blog list, so I haven't read here for a LONG time. It was fun to read about you and your cute family. I agree with the V-town hospital. We've had our fair share of disappointment there too. Glad he's doing well now. Anyway, I have to tell you that your kids are absolutely adorable. Hope you guys are doing well, too!
